Physical activity and sport is essential for the on-going development and health of young people from birth to adulthood. Sport Wellington works across the greater Wellington region, including Kapiti and Wairarapa. Services to Colleges in these areas is also carried out by College Sport Wellington and Sport Wellington-Wairarapa.

KiwiSport The KiwiSport initiative is recognition that schools are a unique gateway for children wanting to get involved in a sports team or club.
