Stirling Sport Sportsperson of the Month
The Stirling Sports Coastlands Sportsperson of the Month Award is for sports people in Kapiti who have performed exceptionally at regional or national level during the month. Entries need to be into Stirling Sports Coastlands by the last day of each month.

Sportsperson qualification criteria:
Open to Sportspeople of any age.
Qualification Criteria:
Performance by candidates shall only be considered when they have occurred during the award period ( being the preceding calendar month).
Candidates under consideration for an award must meet the criteria oa any one of (a), (b), (c), or (d) below
a) Through residency in the Kapiti Region during the award period.
b) Through representing the Kapiti / Wellington region in their chosen discipline during the award period.
c) Through being commonly acknowledged as a Kapitite although not regularly resident in the region due to the demands of an international sporting career.
d) Nominations will be accepted from all regional sports organisations, clubs, media and general public.Nominations to be received by end of each month following the nominee’s achievements or recognition of achievements (i.e. national selection).
Hand all entries into Stirling Sports Kapiti in Coastlands Mall, fax (04) 298 7176 or post to Sport Kapiti, PO Box 407, Waikanae or fax (04) 293 1041. The monthly winners will be advised by Stirling Sports. Both winners will receive a prize voucher redeemable at Stirling Sports Kapiti.A panel of sporting experts will select the winner. Their decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
