Who:  Workplaces

When:  Starts 13th October 2008, ends 7th November (Push Play Day)

About

The "Step it Up" initiative is a FREE four week exercise challenge allowing work teams to imaginatively climb Mt Cook based on their cumulative flights of stairs during Push Play month in October and November.  Not only will "Step it Up" promote using the stairs to your employees as a sustainable form of daily physical activity, but also as a energy-saving and carbon reducing exercise.

Resources

Your workplace will be provided with resources both to assist in promotion and increased awareness of the challenge, and that can be used after the challenge to promote taking the stairs rather than the lift.  Your workplace will also be sent weekly e-mails giving you updates, information on events during Push Play month, exercise and motivational tips, and links to different resources offered by SPARC and HEHA.
