Sports Promotion

Join The Club - Create a Habit Spring and Autumn Promotion

When:  28 September - 28 October 2008

The Promotion is targeting sporting organisations and their clubs to be part of a campaign to promote sport and to encourage people of all ages to become involved in the activities the sports clubs offer.
 
Purpose of Project
-  To incease participation in both formal and informal sport and recreation
-  To support the objectives of HEHA, Active Wairarapa and Push Play
-  To target all age groups
-  To promote the benefits of Sport to the wider community
 
Activities:
 
(1)  To run a series of Have-A-Go days at the following venues
-     Masterton - Sunday 28 September
-     Carterton - Sunday 5 October
-     Martinborough - Sunday 5 October
-     Greytown Sunday 12 October
-     Featherston Sunday 12 October
 
(2)  For sports to run a series of activities during the month of October as follow ups to Have-A-Go days
(3)  To run a media campaign for sport to promote themselves to the community.
